I read that Bush took away 50% discount on filling fees for small entities, (private inventors.) but after checking out the USPTO web-site, I noticed that we still have a discount. I also read that he took that away 2/3 of the operating budget away from the folks down at the US patent office, but I haven't been able to prove that way one way or another. But if he did, it could get corrupt just like many Asian countries.
Gee, even if we can find a patent lawyer that isn't working for the corporations instead of us, we'll have to worry if we would have to send an extra check for 10% for bribe fees like they are known to except in the Asian countries. (Yeah, otherwise an application is likely sit on a shelf for a very long time.)

It's only a Ball Game

February 12, 2008: I can't believe the folks in the media and the tax payers, will tolerate the fact that we can pay for a session in Congress to examine the possibility that a Baseball player might have cheated with the use of steroids, or whether a crooked doctor was lying or not. Don't you think they have more important things to do? Hell, congressmen work for the US government and it's tax payers. And baseball is only a game and its rules should be regulated and enforced by it's own national league.
With all these exorbitant prices for seats to watch the game, these team owners should be able to regulate the game by it self, with their own testing programs. They can make testing for these banned substances part of contract with these high paid ball player that they will be constantly tested for the illegal substances. The fans should be guaranteed that each member is clean.

It's been said that these ball payers are all on the stuff anyway and if the team owners  and their organization don't want  to enforce there own rules, they should put them all on steroids and even the playing field. I really don't give a dam one way or another. It's just a game and the government shouldn't have any part of it. Nor should any tax payer that has no interest in the game. at's its only a game and it should have nothing to do with. It's should be looked upon as any religion and should be separated from the constitutional agenda.

Also I don't there should be any congressional expense or time examining the possibility who jacked up who on steroids either. To sit there an haggle about whether a crooked doctor is lying or not, isn't what the tax payers should be paying for. The government has given the doctor the licence to decide what is in the best interest for their patient's body and mind. They pasted all the test at their so called institutions, so the rich ball players and team owners decide whether the doctor is a quack or not. The dam ball players have enough money to afford the best, so keep the expense of taking care of these meat heads coming out of their own wallets. I could care less about the silly game and I'm sure that their are many other tax payers that feel the same way.

Like how about saving the inventors who are being killed everyday by the industries that sponsor these crooked politicians and ball games?

Congress let a crooked president sign on to the GATT Treaty and now we are breeding stupid people because it. Doesn't any one give a dam about the possibility of the daughter bringing home a moron and think that congress should be doing something to help prevent that possibility?

Update Feb 29: Well I guess the tax payers are going to spend some money on supreme court Justus department to look into whether this baseball player lied to Congress. Gee, show me a Congressman who hasn't lied in Congress. You can't? Yeah it's kind of a prerequisite for any politician to be able to fool any lie detector.

Stupidity should be painful.

January 23, 2008: Kinna late to mention this but:
In the Dec. 27- Jan. 10th'08 edition of the
Rolling Stone magazine, they had a bit on page 15 called - The Death of High Fidelity
It report on how the way music is being compressed and mixed to be loud, a lot because of the way MP3's have caught on.
Believe me when I say I can tell. It's probably the reason I have got into the MP3's by now. I like the idea of the format, where as its not likely going to get a scratch and skip during your favorite song. But the problem is that you can't hear the room of where the song was recorded .

Got Canadian patent number  CA 2216497
You can see for your self at the CIPO

Funny how the US drops out of a global math and science competition.
August 20th"07 I found a bit on the Newsweek web-site about how the US backed out of the competition. Well it just goes to show you what happens when a country with such corporate power is doing to its self. I guess it my back my theory about us killing of the private inventors because of the way the patent terms are set up. We must be killing more smart guy per capita than other countries and the gene pool for smart guys is getting even smaller. Even Bill Gates is looking for more creative people overseas. (I read something about how he is setting up shop in Canada because they are open to more high- tec people immigrating.)
But what the heck, here is the link to the Newsweek article about the US chickening out.
Newsweek Education

Folks are starting to feel the pain of Clinton's and Greenspan's false economy.
August 18,'07: In US Today, on the front of the money section, they featured a couple in Nevada who can't find a buyer for their house even though they dropped the price by $100,000.00.
Well all I can say is, that they found out what happens when you pay the price of a house according to what the final payment would be. The lower interest rate Clinton and Greenspan gave this country got people into bigger houses than the should have. Now after buyers competed for the market of homes and paid the larger price tag, they found out about inflation. (And the higher property taxes.) And to slow that down inflation, the fed had to raise the interest rates and that is when Greenspan knew that it was his time to bail, before the s_it hit the fan.
Today the fed dropped the discount interest rate by a half a point just to encourage the banks to loan more money, but the banks are faced with a massive amount of foreclosers and they aren't giving the money away. See, the buyers are realizing the they can get the same home down the street for a $100,0000.00 less, so they are bailing on the banks. (Kinna thing that will happen the way my will is set-up.)
Heck I don't even have to look at the corporate home builders stock prices to tell you what's going on. I saw all the carpenter tools in the pawn shops.

Baby Einstein - dumber by the day
August 12th, '07: Baby Einstein has been in the news lately.
It's quite funny actually. According to a new report in the Journal of Pediatrics, for every hour a day that toddlers watch Baby Einstein, they learn six to eight fewer words than toddlers that don't. (The funny part about this statement  from the Journal of Pediatrics: is that they never stated how many a normal child in a normal setting would learn, because I think just learning five words in an hour would be quite genius.- for a two year old.

Then I ran across this blog quoting Bush at  Helium com:
When the President said:"After her daughter was born, Julie Aigner-Clark searched for ways to share her love of music and art with her child. So she borrowed some equipment, and began filming children's videos in her basement. The Baby Einstein Company was born and in just five years her business grew to more than $20 million in sales. In November 2001, Julie sold Baby Einstein to the Walt Disney Company, and with her help Baby Einstein has grown into a $200 million business. Julie represents the great enterprising spirit of America. And she is using her success to help others producing child safety videos with John Walsh of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Julie says of her new project: "I believe it's the most important thing that I’ve ever done. I believe that children have the right to live in a world that is safe." We are pleased to welcome this talented business entrepreneur and generous social entrepreneur Julie Aigner-Clark."
Of course she's a con woman and her business hurts the people it's supposed to help. She was sitting in the box with Laura. Another year, it was Ahmad Chalabi. And of course "Baby Einstein" doesn't work. Bush endorsed it. So it makes kids stupid? We're lucky it doesn't kill them.
                           End quote from Helium blog.
Now you've got the Walt Disney Company making a millions off making kids dumber than they already are.

And I'm left with the job of trying to save the smart ones. Also, if you think you will find any real news at these blogs or web-sites; just remember that they want advertising and advertising everything to do with the selection of the material that gets posted. If there is a advertisement from the auto manufactures, you can bet I won't be able to post anything there.
