Apparently I wasn't too far off. Looks as though an inventor Bruce Irvins was hooked up with the biotechnology company, VaxGenand would have had some profit sharing going on. Looks as though he was also involved in the investigations. It's all about greed in America and is was taking advantage of the government and media's vulnerabilities.
However, Bruce knew his days as a free man was near over so he killed himself

Update Aug. 6.'08: Now there are acusations as to how the government was conduction the investigation, with bribing family members. Before they went after Irins, they went after Steven Hatfille, whom found his carrer distroyed so he sued and got a $6 million seattlement.

Then the more you read about it, you may wonder if the government just offed Irvins and used a doctor to say that he was dangerouse when his nieghbors would tell you different. More @ Washington Post.com

Funny thing about this Anthrax scare....
(Not so funny – really)

I suspected from the get go that it was about a 50/50chance of being from a domestic origin. Get this: One morning while I was in a coffee shop stand in Pacifica, the topic came up and I said, “I wouldn’t doubt if it is done by the drug companies which make the antibiotics to fight the bacteria. The guy standing next to me made a comment, “I find that hard to believe.” I said, “I wouldn’t put it past them because I understand how the corrupt government and industries work. They were kicking out a million pills per month and now they have stepped up to two million per month. Tell me – If you were on the board of directors of such a drug manufacture, and at $11.00 a pill....”

      Then a day or two later I heard a guy call into a radio talk show and suggested the Anthrax problem could be caused by a domestic source. The talk show host blew him off as if he was some dumb fuck….
      Now that the government threatened to override the patent on Cipro; the manufacture has made a deal with the government to produce the pill for the government at $.99 a pop. Also the media and government are now stating the fact that the source of the Anthrax could very well be a domestic one.
      Another source could originate from investors who have invested in many of the biotechcompanies which have seen there stocks sky-rocket since September 11th.

I’ve heard investors have talk about how the dot com stock has lost they’re value. I guess Wall Street has found a new game.

— Eli Lilly, the drug maker, could and should have warned physicians as early as 1998 about the link between Zyprexa, its best-selling schizophrenia medicine, and diabetes, an expert witness told jurors Friday in a lawsuit that claims that Zyprexa has caused many mentally ill people to develop diabetes.

Instead, Lilly hid Zyprexa’s risks from doctors to protect the drug’s sales, according to the witness, Dr. John Gueriguian.
Lilly waited until 2007 to add strong warnings to Zyprexa’s label to reflect the drug’s tendency to cause severe weight gain and blood sugar changes.

Lilly put “profit over concern of the consumer,” Dr. Gueriguian said Friday near the end of four hours of testimony. Zyprexa, a drug for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, is by far Lilly’s top-selling product, with worldwide sales of $4.8 billion last year.
