I saw in the news that the fire in Los Angeles has burned parts of Topanga Canyon. Gee, that place was about the nicest looking place to live around LA.
I’d drive down through the canyon on my way to surf when I lived there. I even looked for a place to put my Airstream. The place was beautiful because it had trees and shade and a small town community just not far away from the overgrown city of LA. My heart goes out to that community because unlike most of the places in Californian that one was truly unique.
Kinna feel the same way about the fires above Santa Cruz which is mostly beautiful Redwood Forest. It’s a shame.
