This week we got a hand full.
First off, there are two local cops from San Luis Obispo County under investigation.
San Luis Obispo Police officer Dan McDow and officer Armando Limon are suspected of attempting to bring drugs into the United States at the San Ysidro port of entry.
Now these two should get the Moron of the Day Award because I would think that if they wanted some drugs, they would just go out and bust a few drug dealers and keep some of the stash for themselves. But what the hell, maybe they were just lousy cops and no good at doing the job tax payers pay them for.
The funny part about this local investigation is how the evidence is being withheld from the public because the police agency won’t even disclose what the contraband is.

Then there are a few in Arizona involved in trying to cover up a wrongful shooting as it was being recorded over the phone with the 911 operator.
A homeowner says Phoenix police officer Brian Lilly shot him six times in the back during a 911 home-invasion call, and the 911 tape recorded the officer’s partner Sgt. Sean Coutts saying, “That’s all right. Don’t worry about it. I got your back. … We clear?” The family says the officers were not aware that the 911 call was still recording as they spoke about covering up the shooting.

Another thing I was going to mention: This weekend there was a Harbor Festival held here in Morro Bay. There was plenty of overtime paid out and plenty of volunteers. While walking around the festival it was quite obvious that most of them knew just who I am. Needless to say, many of these cops here in San Luis Obispo County sure don’t have their head on straight either. It’s like they gave little boys, and girls, guns and badges and turned them into a bunch of smart asses.
