I got a kick out of a letter that was sent into the Bay News newspaper, about the experience a couple from Reno Nevada received by coming to the Harbor Festival.
The found a place to park their car off of Colman Drive, but when they returned about an hour later, they discovered that their car was gone. A cop on a bicycle (which could have very well been Martin,) told them that their car had been towed.
The had to got to the police station and pay $150 administration fee for the cop who waited for the tow truck to arrive. Then at Chuck’s Towing they had to lay out another $305.00 to get their car back. At $455.00 for the visit, I think they may think twice before coming to Morro Bay again.
